Welcome to the photographic work of Australian photographer Daniel Cox, as presented by Studiocox. Which is a creative business partnership with his wife and muse Giovanna Russo.

Daniel's work features aviation, documentary, street and urban landscape photography. Which also includes an on-going project to document the Temora Aviation Museum since 2011.

Previously based in the Inner West of Sydney and a remote town in the Central West of New South Wales. We are now located at Richmond, near the Hawkesbury River in New South Wales.

I Sometimes Take Photographs

With a preference for candid shots, since it is those moments that reflect what I see. I try to share what it feels like to be there. Whether it’s an aeroplane alive or someone in contemplation across the table, I open the shutter to reveal some of that wonder.

As a long time watercolourist with a preference for figurative work. I find my painting informs my photography, just as my photography informs my painting.

So my work is grounded in my appetite for the portrayal of what I see, and my experience through a life of making pictures.
